Cops: 1 Dead, 1 Wounded, 2 Others Pistol Whipped In Boerum Hill

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A violent incident rocked the Boerum Hill section of Brooklyn on Friday.

One man was killed, another was wounded, and two others were pistol whipped at the Warren Street Houses, police said.

Just before 7 p.m. police responded to a report of a shooting inside of 572 Warren St. Officers found a 43-year-old black male with a gunshot wound to the head. The man was taken to Methodist Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Officers responding to the scene also discovered a 30- and 40-year-old man with head injuries that appeared to be the result of being struck with a gun. A fourth victim had suffered a grazing wound to the hip but refused medical treatment, police said.

No arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.
