In honor of Veterans Day, Al Dukes booked the one and only Roger Staubach to join Boomer and Craig.

Mr. Staubach is not only a member of both the college and Pro Football Hall of Fame ranks, but he is also a Navy Veteran who served a tour of duty in Vietnam.

The guys discussed Staubach’s former team, the Dallas Cowboys, after they got walloped by the Saints on Sunday night and have some question marks moving forward.

Staubach offered up his take on Eli Manning and the Giants moving forward, as they are closing in on the aforementioned Cowboys.

In addition to all of that, Staubach talked about his relationship with the late Tom Landry, commented on his old teammate Tony Dorsett’s deteriorating health and offered a salute to our veterans.

Before saying goodbye, Staubach – a Cincinnati native – took credit for coining the phrase ‘Hail Mary’ and offered a believable explanation. Who knew?
