NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are looking for four men and a woman in connection with a robbery earlier this month in Brooklyn.

A 26-year-old woman was walking on Pulaski Street near Tompkins Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant just after 9 p.m. on Nov. 5 when two people approached her from behind, flashed a gun and made her lay on ground before stealing her purse and iPhone and fleeing.

The victim was not injured.

The five people sought by police were seen following the victim prior to the robbery and running from the scene afterward, police said. Authorities have released surveillance images of those people.

Police are asking anyone with information about the robbery to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-8477 or to submit a tip online at NYPDCrimeStoppers.com. All communications are kept confidential.
