NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Police are looking for a man they say robbed a livery cab in Brooklyn on Friday night.
The suspect flagged down the cab around 10:30 p.m. at the corner of Flatbush Avenue and Lincoln Place in Prospect-Lefferts Gardens, police said. The robber then drove off in the vehicle, a blue 2007 Mercury Grand Marquis, police said.
Police have released a surveillance image of the suspect. He is described as black man, standing about 6 feet tall and weighing around 180 pounds. He has a dark complexion and was seen wearing a waist-length jacket.
Authorities are asking anyone with information about the robbery to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-8477 or to submit a tip online at NYPDCrimeStoppers.com. All communications are kept confidential.
