Victim Found In Basement Of House In South Ozone Park

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — A man was found beaten and stabbed to death in a basement in South Ozone Park, Queens early Tuesday, police said.

Around 4:45 a.m., police responded to a report of calls for help at a house at 120-46 131st St. in Queens.

They found a man in the basement of the house, with head trauma from a beating and multiple stab wounds, police said.

The victim was found tied to a chair, police said.

The unidentified man was pronounced dead at the scene.

As of Tuesday night, there were no arrests and police had not indicated a motive for the crime.
