Police Search For Student Who Vanished From The College Of New Jersey

EWING TOWNSHIP, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- A 22-year-old student vanished from the College of New Jersey outside Trenton Tuesday afternoon, and police have launched a search.

Campus police and New Jersey State Police have asked for help from the public in finding Kyle Greco, 22, who was last seen at 1:15 p.m. Tuesday on the College of New Jersey Campus in Ewing Township, N.J., according to a news release from the college.

Greco stands about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 135 pounds, He was last seen wearing a black leather waist-length jacket, a black short sleeve T-shirt, dark blue jeans, and blue sneakers.

A university spokesman told the Times of Trenton that Greco was last seen with his parents near the Brower Student Center on campus. They had come to pick him up, but he ran from their car and was "distressed" when he did so, the spokesman told the newspaper.

Greco often walks or jogs several miles when he is upset, and his own car remained on campus Tuesday night, the newspaper reported.
