NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) — Police are looking for as many as two suspects who may have been involved in the shooting of a teenage girl in the Cypress Hills section of Brooklyn.

The 14-year-old girl was shot in the leg while she was walking home from Benjamin Bennett High School, 1010 WINS reported.

The shooting happened around 3:30 p.m. Friday near the corner of Sutter and Euclid avenues.

One bullet went through the girl’s leg. She was described as being alert, talkative, and anxious to get home, police said.
