Girl, 14, Shot While Walking Home From Brooklyn High School
NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) — Police are looking for as many as two suspects who may have been involved in the shooting of a teenage girl in the Cypress Hills section of Brooklyn.
The 14-year-old girl was shot in the leg while she was walking home from Benjamin Bennett High School, 1010 WINS reported.
The shooting happened around 3:30 p.m. Friday near the corner of Sutter and Euclid avenues.
One bullet went through the girl’s leg. She was described as being alert, talkative, and anxious to get home, police said.
Authorities do not believe that she was the intended target.
