Cowboys DT Sports Fake Blood On Face, Says He 'Just Finished Eating A Giant'

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The Giants, on the heels of a four-game winning streak, talked a lot heading into their crucial Week 12 matchup with the division-rival Cowboys.

The Giants (4-7) rallied from 21-6 down to tie it, but eventually lost, 24-21, in the final seconds at MetLife Stadium on Sunday. The loss has the Giants' season on life support.

Leading up to the game, Giants defensive back Terrell Thomas guaranteed a victory and defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul said, "There's going to be a lot of blood spilled out there."

This past Tuesday, during Antrel Rolle's weekly spot with WFAN co-hosts Joe Benigno and Evan Roberts, the safety backed up JPP's comments.

"If JPP said there will be blood, then there will be blood," the two-time Pro Bowler told Joe & Evan.

Following the game, Cowboys defensive tackle Jason Hatcher posted a picture to his Instagram account from Dallas' locker room. Hatcher, who sacked quarterback Eli Manning twice in the win, sported fake blood on his face and wrote the following caption next to his picture: "They say blood would be shed. Just finished eating a giant. #actionspeaklouderthanwords."

"We just got disrespected, you know what I mean?" Hatcher said after the game, according to the New York Daily News. "I just finished eating a Giant. I'll be full for about three days. I ain't got to eat no more ... Actions speak louder than words, so we went out there and we did what we were supposed to do tonight.

"They talked the talk. They had to back it up, and they didn't. We came out with the victory. We came into their house and took it from them."

On Tuesday, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones -- known for speaking his mind and saying quite outlandish things -- told 105.3 The Fan in Dallas that trash talk doesn't help anyone.

"Never in my life have I heard a 4-6 team talk like that," said Cowboys cornerback Orlando Scandrick, according to the newspaper. "Talk, talk, talk. We had a better record and didn't talk ... I knew that when the game started, when the clock started ticking from 60 minutes down to zero, they weren't going to be able to talk their way into a victory."

On Monday morning, Justin Tuck tweeted a picture of his two Super Bowl rings in an effort to stick it to Cowboys fans.
