NYC Correction Officer Charged With Assault, Robbery
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — An off-duty New York City correction officer was arrested early Sunday on robbery and assault charges.
Correction Officer Kenneth Haynes, 28, was arrested shortly before 2 a.m. in the 61st Precinct in southern Brooklyn, police said.
He was charged with assault, robbery, and criminal obstruction of breathing.
Police did not immediately provide additional information about the arrest.
