Jerry Recco's first update was filled with laughter and began with the news coming from Jets camp yesterday involving their starting quarterback.  Rex Ryan addressed the assembled media and named Geno Smith the starter -- how 'bout that?!

Boomer chimed in on the Jets' struggling offense -- struggling may be putting it lightly.  Boomer isn't so sure this Jets offensive unit isn't one of the worst in the history of the NFL.  Keeping the good vibes going, Craig imagined Sunday's Raiders-Jets game being blacked out, going on to say that the organization deserves that type of humiliation.  Geno's backup, Matt Simms, talked about the advice he got from his father on his performance this past Sunday against the Dolphins.

Plus, Week 13 concluded with a Seahawks victory over the Saints on Monday Night Football, and the ever-descriptive Kevin Harlan was on the radio call for Westwood One, which is always entertaining. And the officiating crew was credited with stretching, switching and keeping balls fresh -- so there's that.
