Jerry Recco needed the day off to fulfill his jury-duty requirement, so after Craig shared his unique take on the civic duty, our old pal Chris Lopresti -- a jury-duty virgin, we learned -- followed the blueprint left by the update maven. He began with all of the details surrounding the Yankees' signing of Jacoby Ellsbury, as well as some other happenings with regard to the MLB Hot Stove and some praise for WFAN baseball insider Jon "Hey-Man" Heyman.
Jason Kidd demotes Lawrence Frank before his Nets go out and get embarrassed by the Nuggets. The Denver win -- more specifically, former Knick Timofey Mozgov's (pictured hauling in a rebound) 17 point, 20-rebound performance -- got Boomer to thinkin' about what could have been, while Craig advocated for the recently-downgraded Frank to be the next coach of the New York Knicks.
Tomorrow night in Brooklyn the Knicks and Nets will battle each other on the court, at which time Carmelo Anthony assures it will be all business. Mike Woodson described the attitude of his team as good -- take from that what you will. Then there is Metta World Peace and his loyalty to shell pasta.
Plus, C-Lo proudly informs Craig that he no longer lives with his parents. He has gotten married and has left the comfy nest his mother provided for him. which was news to Craig despite receiving an invitation to the wedding.
Boomer, on the other hand, was well aware of young C-Lo's nuptials, and although he could not make it, was sure to send along a generous gift to help celebrate the special occasion...
