Cops: Long Island Man Stole Packages From Neighbors' Doorsteps
HOLBROOK, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- A Long Island man was arrested and charged Thursday with stealing packages from his neighbors' doorsteps.
A neighbor detained Jaquan Casserly -- one of two men who allegedly swiped boxes in the Woodgate Village condominium complex in Holbrook -- until police arrived.
Officers recovered numerous stolen items and empty packaging nearby, police said.
Casserly, who lives in the complex, is charged with five counts of possessing stolen property.
Suffolk County police said they are continuing their investigation.
