Boomer & Carton: Jerry Recco’s Monday-Morning Update
Jerry Recco was back at it again this morning, as he delivered a thorough and entertaining update for his legions of fans — yes, Jerry has legions of fans — beginning with the Jets’ 37-27 win over the Raiders. The win kept their slim playoff hopes alive, which is more than you can say for the Giants after they lost to the Chargers, 37-14, in turn ending their thoughts of participating in the postseason.
Jerry covered it all after an entertaining Sunday of NFL Football. Before the pigskin action got under way though, the Knicks tipped off with the Celtics at MSG, then proceeded to get throttled by the Celtics by a score of 114-73.
Plus, Craig advocates for late Yankees owner George Steinbrenner’s Hall of Fame induction, and the Rangers followed the Knicks’ lead by falling to the Capitals, 4-1…
