Police Looking For Staten Island Man's Killer

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are looking for a man they say gunned down a Staten Island resident earlier this month.

Christopher Harrell is wanted in connection with the Dec. 1 shooting death of Anthony Pollard. Police responded to a 911 call around 3:45 a.m. at 386 Forest Avenue on Staten Island and found Pollard, 24, with a gunshot wound to his chest. He was pronounced dead at Richmond University Medical Center.

Police have released a photo of Harrell, 24, who is described as black, 6 feet tall and 180 pounds.

Authorities are asking anyone with information about the homicide or Harrell's whereabouts to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-8477 or to submit a tip online at NYPDCrimeStoppers.com. All communications are kept confidential.
