Would ya look at that, Boomer and Carton were back at it again Thursday morning on this edition of the Morning Extravaganza.  The two best buddies got the ball rolling early on with the MLB hot stove as the Mets inked Bartolo Colon to a two-year, $20 million deal. The Yankees reportedly have interest in Johan Santana and reject an offer from the Reds for Brett Gardner that would have landed the Bombers second baseman Brandon Phillips.

So I guess you could say the 'Hot Stove' is simmering.

Moving right along, the Knicks squandered a 23-point lead last night against the Bulls, but did manage to hang on for an 83-78 win and the Jets have what Craig is touting as a very meaningful game this Sunday down in Carolina against Cam Newton and the 9-4 Panthers.
