Cause Of Brownsville Blaze Under Investigation

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Six people suffered minor injuries in a fire in Brooklyn on Sunday.

The fire started on the second floor of a six-story residential building at 557 Rockaway Avenue in Brownsville, fire officials told WCBS 880.

Two people were treated at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center, and four others were transported to other area hospitals, according to officials.

The fire is under control. The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
