Police: Man Brandished Pocket Knife During Attempted Rape

NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) -- The NYPD has asked the public for help in tracking down a man wanted in connection with an attempted rape that took place in Ozone Park, Queens.

At 10 a.m. on Friday, December 13, the suspect gained entry to the victim's apartment, brandished a pocket knife, and told her to take to her clothes off. The victim complied and undressed before struggling with the suspect for his knife.

The victim wrestled the knife away from the suspect who then displayed a second pocket knife and cut the victim on her wrist, and finger. The suspect then fled the scene in an unknown direction with both pocket knives.

The suspect has been described as a black male in his early 20's, he is approximately 5'10" tall, weighs 180-lbs, has a dark complexion, and was wearing a black hoodie with white letters and blue long johns.
