After a rather quiet sports night for the locals, it was the Knicks who garnered top billing this morning when the Dynamic Radio Duo that is Boomer Esiason and Craig Carton opened things up on their wildly-popular radio program. Unfortunately, the tone was not a positive one -- far from it, in fact.

Mike Woodson is saying Amar'e Stoudemire is going to be out a while with a swollen knee. As for Stoudemire, he says he is just fine.

Then there is the timeout that never was Monday night against the Wizards.  While revisiting the issue yesterday, Woodson harkened back to his days on the Atlanta Hawks' bench, when Joe "Not Carmelo Anthony" Johnson hit game winners all the time.  Chances are those comments will not sit well with Carmelo -- and round-n-round we go.

In addition to that, Craig took New York Daily News NFL writer Ebenezer Samuel to task for his piece defending Eli Manning , which struck a nerve.  The guys also discussed the pros and cons of having the name Ebenezer -- of course they did...
