Man, 51, Killed In Canarsie Hit-And-Run
NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) — Police in Brooklyn are investigating a hit-and-run accident that left a 51-year-old man dead on Saturday night.
At 9:37 p.m. on Saturday, police responded to a report of a pedestrian struck at Eastern Parkway and Rockaway Parkway in the Canarsie section of Brooklyn.
The victim was unconscious and unresponsive. EMS arrived and removed the man the man to Brookdale Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The man had been walking across Eastern parkway when he was struck by a black 4-door sedan which then fled the scene, police said.
No arrests have been made, the investigation is underway.
