Report: Giants Rookie Cooper Taylor Is Renting Out Apartment For Super Bowl Week

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Giants rookie Cooper Taylor doesn't want to stick around for the frenzied Super Bowl week. According to the New York Post, he's renting out his apartment and going away on vacation.

Taylor's 1,000-square-foot apartment in Rutherford, N.J. has been listed on Craiglist for Super Bowl week for a $9,000. The apartment includes two bedrooms, two baths, a 70-inch TV and includes a view of MetLife Stadium.

The rookie safety and his real-estate broker girlfriend Susan Carlson needed to get away from the Super Bowl circus.

"We thought it would be the best time to get out of the city and go on vacation because that week will be a madhouse," Taylor told The Post. "I am definitely disappointed that we are not playing in it. It would make it a lot more fun."

Taylor earned $450,000 from the Giants in his rookie season.
