Lions Star WR Calvin Johnson Held Out Of Season Finale

MINNEAPOLIS (CBSNewYork/AP) — Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson has been held out of the season finale.

Johnson has been bothered by knee troubles throughout the season.

Kevin Ogletree is in the starting lineup Sunday at Minnesota for Johnson, who has been bothered by a knee injury for much of the season. Johnson finished with 1,492 yards and 12 touchdowns in 14 games.

Other starters out for the Lions: right tackle LaAdrian Waddle (ankle) and cornerback Chris Houston (toe).

For the Vikings, running backs Adrian Peterson (foot) and Toby Gerhart (hamstring) are inactive. Matt Asiata starts instead.

Linebacker Audie Cole (ankle) is out. Erin Henderson moves from the weak side to the middle to take his place. Fred Evans starts at nose tackle for Letroy Guion (quadriceps). Marcus Sherels starts for cornerback Xavier Rhodes (ankle), but Rhodes is suited up.
