Woman Killed In Flushing Car Crash

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A Queens woman was killed Thursday in Flushing when her car and another vehicle collided, police said.

A 24-year-old man was traveling westbound on 33rd Avenue near 172nd Street when his 2003 BMW struck the 2012 Nissan being driven by Annamarie Tromp, 56.

Tromp was unconscious when police arrived at the scene. She was then rushed to Booth Memorial Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

No charges had been filed as of Tuesday night. Police are continuing to investigate.
