Cops Hunt For Man Wanted In Subway Stabbing

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are looking for a man they say repeatedly stabbed someone on a subway train last month.

William Quinones, 39, stabbed a 25-year-old man multiple times on a southbound No. 2 train at the East 149 Street/Third Avenue station before fleeing, police said.

Police have released photos of the suspect. Quinones is described as being Hispanic, standing 5 feet, 10 inches tall and having brown eyes and black hair, which he sometimes wears in braids.

Authorities are asking anyone with information about the stabbing to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-8477 or to submit a tip online at NYPDCrimeStoppers.com. All communications are kept confidential.
