Police Searching For Man Accused Of Groping Teen On Subway Train

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man who they say groped a teenage girl on the subway.

According to authorities, the suspect touched the 16-year-old girl over her clothing while riding on a Manhattan-bound 7 train at the 74th Street and Roosevelt Avenue subway station. He then fled on foot.

The victim did not sustain any physical injuries as a result of the incident, police said.

The suspect is described as male, between 30 and 35 years old, and last seen wearing a tan baseball cap, black hooded sweatshirt, a red turtleneck underneath and sunglasses.
