Boomer & Carton: Knicks Fall To Nets Without A Fight
Despite the post offices being closed in observation of MLK Day, the Knicks still managed to find a way to mail it in against the Nets at the transformed Madison Square Garden, to the tune of a 103-80 pasting.
Following the afternoon affair, Carmelo Anthony was not too happy with what he perceived to be a lack of effort by some of his teammates. So it was there that this Morning Extravaganza began, with Boomer and Craig discussing the plight of this mess of a Knickerbockers team. Craig once again was calling for Mike Woodson’s job.
Not to be overlooked, Jason Kidd has led his Brooklyn squad to a 7-1 record in the new year – 17-22 overall – which is good for seventh in the underwhelming Eastern Conference.
