NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – The 2014 winter games are happening half a world away in Sochi, but not for one New Yorker.
Casey Neistat took advantage of the recent storms to go snowboarding across the streets of New York City.
In a clip uploaded to YouTube, Neistat is seen being dragged behind an SUV, on a snowboard, across the slushy streets of New York. In traffic. Without a helmet.
Another shot shows Neistat snowboarding down the steps of one of the courts on Center Street, and down the steps of the Soldiers & Sailors Monument.
Neistat is a filmmaker who had a television show on HBO.
