Family Searches For Long Island Woman Missing Since Monday

SYOSSET, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) — The family of a 22-year-old Long Island woman was conducting an all-out search for her this weekend.

As WCBS 880’s Sophia Hall reported, Nassau County police said Jasmine Joseph has not been seen since she left her Syosset home on Monday.

Joseph told her family she was leaving in her gray Nissan Altima to go to classes at the New York Institute of Technology in Westbury. But the school said Joseph has not attended classes at the school since May 2013.

Joseph is 5 feet 4 inches tall and 120 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.

Joseph’s family has set up fliers and a Facebook page to help with the search.

Anyone with information was asked to call the Nassau County Police Missing Persons Squad, at (516) 573-7347.
