Woman Found Dead In East Orange, N.J.; Homicide Suspected
EAST ORANGE, N.J. (CBSNewYork) — A woman was found dead outside an apartment building in East Orange, N.J. Monday, and police believe she was the victim of a homicide.
Around 9:30 a.m. Monday, East Orange police officers were sent to the 300 block of Park Avenue in East Orange, where the woman’s body was found, police said.
The victim had not been identified as of Monday night.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The cause of death was pending an autopsy, but the matter was being investigated as a homicide, police said.
