It's been said that sometimes less is more. I've heard it uttered myself on numerous occasions.

Well, while opening today's radio program, Craig wasn't much interested in hearing the minimizing phrase pertaining to his beloved New York Jets, who have been relatively quiet during the frenzy that is the NFL free agency period.

Boomer did his best to ease his radio partner's uneasiness, or at least he made an effort, offering praise for what second year GM John Idzik has done thus far, but Craigie wasn't really hearing it, making it clear he would like to see the Jets do some spending.

Speaking of doing some spending, James Dolan is reportedly prepared to pony-up some dough - about $15 million a year - to bring Phil Jackson in to run things for the Knicks.  For some reason the official announcement isn't expected until Tuesday, though Craig is pretty sure he knows why.

Regardless of the addition of Jackson or the Knicks current five-game winning streak, Craig is still certain they are not going to make the playoffs.  Meanwhile Boomer is scratching his head trying to make sense of the Rangers' inability to score goals - and that's how this Friday morning radio party began...
