With the Mets set to kick off their 2014 campaign this afternoon at Citi Field against the Nationals, Boomer and Craig were thrilled to talk with the always honest Keith Hernandez.
Hernandez will be back in the SNY booth alongside Ron Darling and Gary Cohen this season, so he offered up his take on a team that Sandy Alderson predicted will win 90 games.
According to Hernandez, if this team finishes a game over .500 (82-80) that should be considered a ‘good year,’ so there’s that.
