FBI Hunts Suspected Child Sex Predator

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - The FBI is searching for a man they say was caught on video and in photos "engaging in sexually explicit activities with a child."

The FBI is calling the man "John Doe 28." They're hoping certain details released in photos will help identify him.

The FBI points out the man - and the victim - were seen on video inside a residence with a blue sofa chair and a picture hanging on the wall. The picture may depict a landscape.

The man is also seen wearing wire-frame glasses and a burgundy t-shirt with what appears to be a shark logo on it.

The man was first spotted on video exploiting a child back in November of 2012.

It's not known where the video was recorded.

Anyone with any information is asked to call the FBI's toll-free tip line at 1-800-CALL-FBI (1-800-225-5324). Tips can also be submitted online at tips.fbi.gov.
