Police Search For Assailant In Attack On Woman, 70, In Park Slope Subway Stop

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Police on Thursday were asking the public to help them find a suspect in an attack on a 70-year-old woman in a Brooklyn subway station this past weekend.

Police said the suspect came up to the woman and punched her in the head around 10:45 a.m. this past Sunday, on the southbound platform of the Fourth Avenue-Ninth Street elevated R Train stop in Park Slope, Brooklyn.

The suspect fled on foot. Police did not indicate how seriously the woman was injured.

Police have released surveillance photos of the suspect.
