3 Men Shot In East Flatbush
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Three men have been hospitalized after being shot in Brooklyn early Sunday morning.
Around 3:20 a.m. on Church Avenue in East Flatbush, one man was shot in the arm and leg, another in the torso and a third victim in the leg, police told WCBS 880’s Monica Miller. Their injuries are not considered life threatening, and all three men were taken to Kings County Hospital.
A police spokesman said a man has been taken into custody and his gun was retrieved.
Investigators are still looking for a motive.
One resident who was waiting for a bus across from the crime scene said she is concerned because the neighbor is becoming more dangerous.
“It’s beginning to have a lot of crime,” she said.
The woman said she doesn’t go out at night, but during working hours, it’s a nice neigborhood.
“I feel safe right now since it’s daylight,” she said.
