5 Injured In Brooklyn Apartment Fire

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Five people were injured Saturday morning after a five-story building in Brooklyn went up in flames.

The fire started around 10 a.m. on the second floor of the apartment building located on Lafayette Street between Clinton and Vanderbilt streets, 1010 WINS reported.

Four people were taken to area hospitals with minor injuries.

One person was rushed to Cornell Hospital with burns to their leg and foot, EMS told 1010 WINS. That person was listed in stable condition.
