Worker Falls To His Death From Building On Manhattan's West Side

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A worker was killed Monday afternoon after failing from a building at the northern edge of Chelsea.

The accident happened at a building at 434 W. 33rd St., authorities said.

Investigators believe the man fell from the roof of the building onto the sidewalk shed below.

The worker was rushed to Bellevue Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
