HAVRE DE GRACE, Md. (CBSNewYork) – A bus bound for New York struck a guardrail and crashed on I-95 Friday afternoon, CBS Baltimore reported.

The double decker bus remained upright after the crash, officials said.

There were about 75 people aboard, though none suffered visible injuries, CBS Baltimore reported.

Emergency responders were on the scene.

Megabus.com released a statement, CBS Baltimore reported:

Megabus.com is aware that an incident has occurred on Interstate 95 near Webster Village Maryland. We are currently working with local officials to gather details of the incident.  Safety is megabus.com’s number one priority.”

Officials were trying to get shuttles to move the passengers off the interstate until a replacement bus arrives. Passengers of the crashed bus have been standing on the shoulder of the road in the interim, according to Maryland State Police.

The crash shut down northbound lanes of the interstate.
