As executive producer of The Boomer & Carton Morning Extravaganza, Al Dukes is not big on booking guests to join the guys -- not because he's lazy, but rather based on a proven theory that guests don't lead to ratings.

Well in an interesting development this morning, Al bent the rules -- his rules -- and relied on instinct when he booked the lovely Melanie Iglesias to join Boomer & Craig in the Allstate Studio for a chat -- hmmm.

As it turns out, Al's instinct was a good one because Miss Iglesias arrived happy and remained that way throughout her visit with the guys.  In addition to mentioning Melanie's "Off The Bat From The MLB Fan Cave" show on MTV2,  the importance of leaving a good tip was discussed, as was her current actor boyfriend -- whose name she was not willing to reveal...
