3 People, Including 1-Year-Old, Shot And Wounded In Asbury Park, N.J.

ASBURY PARK, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- Three people – including a mother and a 1-year-old baby – were shot and wounded Monday night in Asbury Park, N.J.

As CBS 2's Tracee Carrasco reported, Asbury Park police said the shooting happened around 7:20 p.m. at 700 Comstock St.

Three victims – including a 29-year-old mother and her 1-year-old daughter – were taken to Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune Township, police said.

Also shot and hospitalized was a 19-year-old man, police said.

The woman and the baby were innocent bystanders, police said. The involvement of the man was not clear.

The man came to the hospital on his own, police said.

The victims' conditions were not immediately available, but none of their injuries were considered life-threatening.

Thirteen to 15 rounds were fired in the incident, police said.

Asbury Park police and the Monmouth County Prosecutor's office were investigating late Monday. There were no arrests.
