NEW JERSEY (CBSNewYork) — Students at Rutgers University are on high alert after a violent assault just a block away from the student center.
Police said the incident happened early Saturday morning around 2 a.m.
A man in his 20s was said to have walked up to a student on Senior Street and punched him in the face, CBS 2 reported. The man then ran off.
The victim was treated and released from a nearby hospital.
