Bronx Man Finds 1-Year-Old Daughter Unconscious In Bathtub

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) -- The NYPD is investigating after a 1-year-old girl nearly drowned in a bathtub in the Bronx.

The father found the baby submerged in the bathtub in their Claremont home around noon Wednesday, police said.

The girl was rushed to Bronx Lebanon Hospital in critical condition.

No charges have been filed.

Neighbors described the man as a good father.
