Boomer & Carton: Rangers, Sam, Nets — This Is What Mondays Are Made Of
Who woulda thunk it?!
With a couple of wins over the weekend, Boomer’s beloved Rangers managed to tie up their series with the Penguins, setting the stage for a Game 7 in Pittsburgh Tuesday night.
With the Blueshirts success it was there that Boomer and Craig embarked, setting the stage for what was certain to be four hours of radio gold, because quite frankly, that’s how things work around these parts.
It wasn’t all about hockey though, as the NFL Draft concluded, so the guys reflected on both the Giants and the Jets, as well as the St. Louis Rams, who made history after drafting Michael Sam out of Missouri, who made headlines himself back in February when he announced that he was gay.
We also had the Nets in the mix, as they took it to the Heat on Friday night and will be looking to do the same tonight when the two teams square off at Barclays Center once again.
So there you have it, your search for a well-rounded morning show open has officially concluded. Now enjoy it…
