Police: Man Stole Nearly $50,000 From Williamsburg, Brooklyn Warehouse
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police on Tuesday were searching for a suspect who took nearly $50,000 in cash and checks from a warehouse in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
Around 3:10 p.m. Monday, May 12, the man broke into the warehouse at 123 Banker St. in Brooklyn through a skylight, police said.
He entered an office and took $31,146, along with $18,304 in checks, police said.
The suspect was described as wearing a gray sweater and black jeans. Police have released a surveillance photo.
