It proved to be a fruitless Tuesday evening for the baseball locals, so the Dynamic Radio Duo that is Boomer & Carton got things started today on the diamond, with the Mets' continued struggles and David Wright's inability to get a big hit in a big spot.  The 'Not So Amazin's' lost 9-4 to the Dodgers and have now dropped five of their last six. They are in last place in the NL East.

From there it was on to the Rangers and the manufactured trash-talk nonsense coming from their series with the Canadiens. And Masahiro Tanaka was dealt his first loss of the year as the Yankees fell to the Cubs.

All of that led to Craig revealing the delicious surprise he had made for his radio partner, a Rangers-themed Stanley Cup cake, which -- despite his sweet tooth -- the Booms had no interest in tasting...
