Long Island School Bus Accident Leaves 17 Students Injured
EAST MEADOW, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- Seventeen high school students suffered minor injuries Monday afternoon, after an accident on Long Island.
The accident happened around 3:30 p.m. on the Hempstead Turnpike in East Meadow.
Police said two school buses and a car were involved.
The exact conditions of the victims were not immediately available, but authorities said the injuries were not life-threatening.
