Police: Boy, 14, Hit And Killed By Car In Brooklyn
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A 14-year-old was killed Monday morning after police said he was hit by a car in Brooklyn.
It happened around 6:48 a.m. at the intersection of Lorraine Street and Hicks Street.
Police said Nicholas Soto was crossing Hicks Street when he was struck by a 2004 BMW heading west on Lorraine.
When officers arrived, they found the teen unconscious and unresponsive with severe head trauma, police said. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced.
The driver of the BMW remained on the scene, police said.
The investigation is still ongoing.
