Police: Bicyclist Killed In Crash With Minivan Near Citi Field
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — A bicyclist was struck and killed by a minivan near Citi Field on Tuesday, police said.
The victim, a man in his 40s, was riding westbound on Roosevelt Avenue under the No. 7 subway tracks around 12:45 p.m. when the van hit him, police told WCBS 880’s Ginny Kosola. The van was driving in the same direction as the cyclist, authorities said.
No charges have been filed against the driver, Kosola reported.
