4 Injured When Facade Collapses In West New York, N.J.

WEST NEW YORK, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- Four people were injured Tuesday evening in a partial façade collapse in West New York, New Jersey.

Part of the façade of a two-story home at 219 Palisade Ave. in West New York came down shortly before 6 p.m. Tuesday, the North Hudson Regional Fire Department told CBS 2.

Four people were injured, the department said. There was no immediate word whether they were walking on the sidewalk or evacuating the home.

Two people were taken to Jersey City Medical Center in Jersey City, where their conditions were reported as stable. Two more were taken to Palisades Medical Center in North Bergen, and their conditions were not immediately available.
