Police: Suspects Stole Purse From LES Apartment, Used Credit Card

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Police on Thursday were seeking two suspects who allegedly stole a purse from an apartment on the Lower East Side, and using a credit card from it at a 7-Eleven store.

On Friday, May 30, the suspects walked into an apartment on Henry Street on the Lower East Side, and took the victim’s purse before running off, police said.

The two male suspects then used the credit card to buy unknown items at the 7-Eleven at 813 Broadway just south of Union Square around 2:50 a.m. that day, police said.

Police have released a surveillance photo of the suspects.
