Cops Seek Randolph 'Buju' Phillips In Connection With Bronx Shooting

NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) -- The NYPD has asked the public for help in locating a suspect wanted in connection with a shooting that took place in the Bronx.

Shortly before 9 p.m. on June 7, a 32-year-old man was shot in the torso while standing outside of 789 Fairmont Avenue. He was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition.

The suspect fled the scene, but was later identified as Randolph Phillips, 45. Phillips is 5'7" weighs 160-lbs, and has also been known as Buju.

Anyone with information regarding this shooting or the whereabouts of Phillips has been asked to contact the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
