Cops: Suspect Fired Multiple Shots At Victim Before Fleeing Down Bronx Street

NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) -- The NYPD has asked the public for help in tracking down a suspect wanted in connection with a shooting that took place in the Bronx.

Shortly before 1 a.m. on June 19, the suspect approached a 31-year-old man on East 194th Street, brandished a firearm, and shot him in the arms and torso.

EMS responded to the location and transported the man to Jacobi Medical Center. The suspect, who was wearing a white tank top and red pants, fled the location heading north on Webster Avenue.

Police have released surveillance photos of the suspect.
